My oil pressure gauge is pegging past 5 bar. Now this is the gauge at fluat. As iv had a new sender and everything was working fine. Iv just change over my dash cluster curtict board. I swap over my speedo and rev counter. ( if u may be following my other tread, I broke the ciruct when I tried 2 remove the solider led lights.! Which blow the fuse and now my pop ups won't retacted) My old gauge was reading high, would start on 1bar rather then 0 when the electics snd dash warning lights are on. This one now pegs past 5? Is there any way I can set the resistance ? Or fix the gauge ? Battery is reading the same so that side works? |

I hadn't read this before posting on your other thread. My advice would be to completely undo everything you've done, repair what you've broken so that everything works again, and then either leave it alone (best option) or start again. |

If the gauge is open circuit, in other words a connection is broken then it will go full scale. So need to check the sensor circuit from the sensor to the gauge. |

Check you didn't miss any brass nuts & washers when you had it in bits. Maybe something simple. Like a loose nut behind the wheel. ![]() |

Think it was just the workings of the gauge. replaced with my original one and the readings and workings are fine. Still got the problem with the headlights not retracting. |

Yeah, didn't read it like that. In the state off distrort and painc. ![]() Just 2 add that my heater gauge is also fluaty, don't reach the 1st mark, stays about half way from start and the 1mark, which onces past would turn on the fan. Which I believe 2 be normal function. ? |
