Post subject:  Quaife Diff ???

Hi All :)

I just got this email on one of my Nitrous Forums, not sure if its correct or if anyone is interested but....

"Hello ,
duud40 from the forum here :)
I just found out a diff I bought for using in my RS4 doesn`t fit as stated
on the quaife website.
It does however fit the 944 porsche (and any other model that uses the same
gearbox) .
The part number is QDF4Q. Asking 950 usd but will settle for less. If you
know anybody interested please send them my way :) .
Item is new. Contact : duud40@yahoo.com

All the best Brett :)

/ what difference does that make, IIRC Speedo drive on a 944 is from the front hub

My understanding is the speedo drive is only off the front hub on early cars if you mean wheel hub, if you mean a hub in the gearbox then that is another thing.

Early cars only up to 85 1/2 then a sensor on the n/s of the output shaft of the box.
