 Post subject: 928 engine - 944 torque tube

anyone know if a 928 engine will mate up with the 944 torque tube bell housing ?

Very much doubt it. I know the 944 needs a huge amount of work to get the 928 engine in, as the V8 is so porky. This why the v8 conversions use a LSx or similar, aside from being cheaper to install & run.
