I drive my 944 all the time and she is so reliable. How many other people use their car as their normal transport? |

Wish my commute was longer. Just doesn't work doing less than 10 miles in a 944. Needed it last week & this week & the batteries flat & I've ripped the teeth off one of the drive shafts. Waiting for parts....... ![]() |

Use mine every day, 12 mile round trip for the day job Mon-Fri, and 100-200 miles to gigs at the weekend. Pretty much the same as kong, drive it-fuel it-clean it ![]() |

My 130 mile round trip commute would kill me with the prce of fuel as it is. A diesel has been employed to carry out daily activites. |

I did until a couple of weeks ago. Now I've got a run around my fuel bill has gone down from £120 a week to £55. So the other car pays for it self and a lot more. I'm better off with 2 cars and the best bit is my '44 isn't getting carpark dings and scratches by leaving it at work it stays nice and clean in my garage. Also the cars become a lot more special just driving it at weekends and nice evenings. Rich. |

I used my 3.2 as daily driver till we bought Alexa, then our commute to work was reduced to 5 paces |

Depends how I feel or where I'm going! Now I've had the '44 a couple of years it tends not to go to supermarkets or get dumped at the train station all day or indeed go anywhere that I don't fancy leaving it any more. That was not the case at first, it went everywhere, every day, so much so that my poor Cougar's brakes seized because it was laid up for so long! The Cougar now gets the mundane stuff through the week (5 mins to the train station, I should really walk!) and the '44 gets used at the weekend. I think I appreciate it more that way. Stuart |

Good to see other people use them regular too. The Porsche is the more economical car in our family as the wife drives a 2.3 Saab which will pass everything bar a Petrol station!! |

Have used my S2 Cab as a daily driver for the last 11 years. Its nearly at 210 000 miles and I've done nearly 140 000 of them!! Still gives me more smiles per mile than any other car. |

Mine’s my only car, but I walk to work so it’s for evenings and weekends! |

I bought my S2 over 2 years ago as a daily drive with very few problems to date. A work colleague refers to my car as the "ticking timebomb", however I spent considerably less on the Porsche in the last 2 years than he has on his Nissan! I did have a spell last summer with a Mk 5 diesel Golf, the Porsche didn't like not being used and I hated the Golf with a passion, so sold it after 3 months. Used everyday it is the most dependable car I've ever owned. |

Here's another everyday driver. Tried using something else - BMW 525i Touring - but just couldn't hack it. It will remain an everyday driver as long as 'as long as' is ![]() At the moment it's a bit battered and rusty, but not as bad as David Duchovny's 911 is on Californication - but then I suppose his just looks cool because he's driving around Los Angeles...... whereas when I drive through Knutsford... ![]() Bought on 139000 miles, now on 207000 miles, and only let me down once... on double yellows outside a trendy bar in Knutsford when the immobiliser key broke, attracting comments like "Should have bought a Ford mate". Anyway, great everyday driver that does everything I want a car to. |

Been playing the role off a work van at the mo. Not 2 happy about it, change colthes 4 the jonerny and tool box fits in the spear wheel well. And some boots down the side off the rear arch. Done 18000 miles in the last 19 months. About 20% off mileage has been added in this time |

use mine everyday accross town for work and for long weekend drives, often do a few hundred miles at weekend svisiting friends and it never seems to moan, no big costs weither, just oil and filter, infact i've been doing about 1500 miles a month with no problems, a tine of engine restore with each oil change really works wonders too if your doing a lot of mileage |
