Hi All Its that time of year to start looking at insurance renewal..... When I purchased my 944 I just lumped it in with my Admiral multicar policy but not impressed by the annual renewal quote which is more for the S2 than my 996 C4S! Has anyone got any good recommendations for classic insurance providers for 944's. Cheers Paul |

Go Coompare searches Classic insurers now as well, worth giving it a try. Depends what kind of cover you are looking for, the bigger names are great for low milage cover, but if its a daily drive they don't tend to be that competative. This year I wanted to go to 12k + commuting as a daily drive, chaucer wouldn't entertain it, so now I'm with Hastings on a fairly regular policy for £422 with just 1 years NCB which isn't bad when the same comany wanted twice that for a Ford Cougar V6!!! |

CVI charge me £265 for 5K inc commuting on my 968. And that's with a prang last year on another policy. However, this is a strictly 'second car policy' - you have to have another car as your 'daily driver'. |

I sorted mine with Sureterm Direct via Moneysupermarket.com. £125 for 4000 miles as a second car can't be bad ![]() Phil |

I was going to use Classic Line as they include up to 3 owners club track days which is worth £50 - £100 per track day itself, for a premium of £200. Only went to Adrian Flux as I had £100 voucher for them. They wanted the same premium but no track day cover. Both offer agreed valuations and limited mileage Classic cover. Unfortunately both quotes went up from £135 to £200 as I declared various 'enhancements' to the stock 924 Turbo. Still cheaper than road tax or three tanks full of fuel ![]() |

Try Peter D James. No mileage limitation, partner and father as named on the policy and European breakdown cover. £245.10 all in fully comp. Good luck. |

I insured my S2 mid January with Adrian Flux and they put it on a classic car policy but will record my no claims so I do not lose them after a few years, 10K per year 49 years old no accidents or convictions over 15 years NCD (although not used in policy) £234 fully comprehensive including commuting and between offices, parked on the driveway they also did breakdown cover including UK/EU and home start for £35 so total insurance £269 incl breakdown, legal cover. They will also insure as a fixed valuation if you send photos etc for £10 extra. |

I tried RH for my S2 and they came back over £400 fully comp back in January, not sure why as no convictions loads of NCD and certainly old enough. |

Thanks again for all the suggestions - lots of sensible conversations later, RH got my business. On first impressions I'd definitely recommend gving them a go. |
