Does anyone have a set of HT leads, distributor cap and rotor arm for sale for a 1987 2.5 8v lux?

You need new ones. Got mine from German French Swedish. You could also try Euro car parts. Then when you have a price ring Declan at JMG http://www.jmgshop.com/ & quote the price Euro gave. They will beat it by 10%. Not too expensive for the 8v. It's the S & S2 that are ruinous.

Cheers JJ

I've just cleaned the pitted contacts in the distributor cap and the rotor arm, new plugs and she fired up first time :D

But yes, I'll phone Declan and see what he says. Thanks for that dude 8)

I changed the dizzy cap and rotor arm around November / December time on my gold 944. Cost about £60 all in from Design 911. HT Leads seem to be extortiate at about £100 for a set, the last time I looked.

Ht leads are about £40/60 for a 8v and 120/-150 16v. Had 2 replace mine as they fell 2 bit with my last spark plug change. Which were 16v brue.

If u can wait a week mangerncore seem 2 be a good upgrade and are cheaper.

Leads are £36 from GSF & are genuine. Cap £21 & rotor arm £15. (Bit steep considering it's size.) The 16v models are nearly £100 for leads! Replaced the lot on mine including the coil. Gave instant horse power. The '44 is very sensitive to ignition.

16v leads were 115 when I got mine in November.

Thanks for that :) Don't think I'll be ordering parts through design 911 again, well, certainly not ignition parts.
