Hi All

Been toying with the idea of getting some different alloys for my S2. Currently I have the 'standard' Design 90's but I do like the look of the Cup Alloys, either 16" or 17".

I'm going to need some new tyres soon so now is the ideal time to take the plunge. I think the following at Porsch Apart fit the bill, they are 16", but I thought it sensible just to ask the question here and confirm my understanding that these are the right wheeel offset for a standard S2.

If anyone thinks I should really be going for 17" over 16" then please feel free to comment but I am mindful of upsetting the handling .

Cheers

Paul

Lovely car!

They're a bit to close to my Turbo look wheels on my C4S. I quite like the simplicity of the Cup wheels - but always open to suggestions!!

They're the correct offset but i think the fronts should be 7J, maybe check with the seller

Drove to callander today and some of the potholes had their own postal codes :shock: , so happy not to be running huge rims.

heres mine with the 16's on;

Thanks for bringing to my attention!

Spoke design is not really what I'm after - the ones at Porsche Apart are not concave like yours.

Still can't make up my mind about them though :?

owned 3 944's. 2 with Std 16". The Cabriolet i had was on 17" cup2's - looked good but I'm sure would have given a better ride with 16's
I would recommend staying with 16's for a better drive.

Never mind the fact that old cars with modern alloys look "well wickid, innit" to use the modern venacular!

I now have some new wheels to try out on the S2!

After going round the houses Steve's wheel grabbed my attention and grew on me when he listed them for sale elsewhere. They were posted to me this week and arrived yesterday, just as described, including what can only be described as a merely 'scrubbed' set of tyres :D . Looking forward to fitting them which may have to wait a couple of weeks unfortunately.

The spoils from the sale to me I understand have already been put to god use! :wink:
