When I bought my car, it had a set on non standard Milla Miglia 17" alloys on.
These really did modernise the look of the car, but i always knew that these were not standard and also were not made by Porsche. They also weighed a ton.
Over the last year, i have been scouring ebay for a set of relatively rare 16" 944 turbo teledials. Last summer i drove from my home in Swindon to Ipswich to collect a set and after the 15 minutes or so i spent with the seller, drove straight back again. Seven and a half hours continues driving was not fun.
More recently, i managed to find a set of tyres for these wheels. These are continental and N1 - Porsche approved.
Today, my wife (thanks love) and i managed to change them over. Some before and after shots....

So this is how the car would have looked as it left the factory. To be honest, i am not sure if i like it. The clearance between the alloy and the brake calliper is tiny. This is normal as i have seen a few cars like this.
What do you guys think?
Perhaps the car needs lowering now? Anyone know how to do this without putting bags of sand into the boot?
