OK there are probably more important things to become fixated about when owning a 21 year old Porsche. However I'd like to address a couple of small issues with the interior of my newly brought S2. One being the carpet pieces fitted to the sides of the boot space are flopping around. I need some of these plastic plugs that keep it in place. It would look OK with grey or white clips but the originals (those left) match the Linen colour of the leather seats and trim. I did type in a Google search and by chance it showed that a half dozen (in the correct colour) were for sale on ebay some weeks ago, but there's be no more since. Any ideas ![]() |

Have you tried the dealers? I got some last year in light grey for my 968. |

Thanks Simon, I'll give them a call, but do the main dealers keep stuff like this for a car so old? Back in the day I worked for a short while in a parts department of my local Ford dealer. My principle role was to throw out trim and other odd stuff for old Fords; they kept bigger mechanical / serivce items but the everything else went in the skip. Fingers crossed Porsche had more foresight! |

Southbound trimmers also have them at shows, though OPC Exeter would always be my first call. |

£1.95 each, this would have bought you a bag full a couple of years ago, something else spares wise that has gone up, though some bits have come down in price. Porsche Dealers can supply 95% of bits for 944's some of them but not all at a premium, always my first phonecall. |

I used to trawl around the likes of ECP & GSF for most things, now I always call the OPC first, you'd be amazed at what they still supply for the older cars!! one place I stay as far away froma s I can is PorscheShop, why buy if from someone who buys it directly from Porsche then charges more than their dealers do!! ![]() |
