Only under load. Is your fuel filter clean. Is the engine getting enough fuel? Have you swapped the DME relay with a spare? Plugs & leads in good condition? When did you last replace the rotor arm & cap? Check the obvious first. Methodically.

Hello all, Anyone think what would cause the following? Automatic car. Starts fine and revs fine when in neutral. Moves away fine from standing. Apply acceleration and at about 15mph or I am guessing as it changes from first to second gear the engine dies. Engine then starts but only after a longer than usual turn of the key. Car then repeats it again and again... Yes, it was fun getting home last night !! Any ideas out there?? |

Vacuum pipes OK? Are they old, split, cracked etc? |
