Motor & things!

Help,
does anyone know where i can get a boot release motor for a 1991 944 s2, i cant find one anywhere, also I am trying to locate some carpet retaining clips & poppers for in the boot, they need to be cream !

Can you recommend a good supplier for these kind of things, Ive looked on ebay with no luck,

The clips can be found on eBay, but are cheaper in halfords. Iv got cream carpet with black clips and it looks fine.

I have a motor off a 1991 S2 in the garage but it has no cable fastener to attach the lock release cable, as I bought it for this item only, you can have the motor if you want it for the postage or collect if you are in the North East.

If you can't find a cable fastener you could always make one it is just a short bent arm with a nut to hold it to the motor and something to grip the cable. I made one for my last car from a small piec of flat bar bent into a "dog leg" with a bolt in the rotating end to put the cable onto and lock this to the lever so the cable can rotate.

Carpet grommets and the like cheap as chips at your dealer (OPC) try James at only 9 or Frazerpart for rear hatch arm/motor.
