I'm looking for parts for my car.

I know that some of you like these door handles.

Scripted door handles fetch a high price. The theory is that they became desirable for young gents to polish silver and fit to their VW Golfs in the ’90s. The upshot being that what was a slightly hard to find 944 option part became a very hard to find part as the years went on.

I got lucky last year and found a pair going cheap on eBay in the States, because the seller had mis-spelled ‘Porsche’ in his advert title.

Pretty sure you can find them just below or circa £100 a pair. I did.

The nice people at Stuttgart stuck them on my Turbos at the factory, which was nice of them

Yup my old '88 944S had them as well, managed to paint the script part body colour, looked very tasteful

I've got one on the drivers side but not the passenger side?? There are also a couple of cars at Alasdair's (Sulzeruk) unit with the same set-up which seems bizarre.

So if anyone has a spare passenger side one give me a shout!

Cheers

Stuart
