I picked up my 944 S2 on saturday and enjoyed a 300+ mile journey home to Glasgow. Instantly fell in love with the car and smiled the whole way home despite the snows best efforts to put us off.

Its black with black leather interior :D

There is a small list of cosmetics and a couple of things needed mechanically to spruce her up. Can't wait to get started though.

The only pics I have are too big so I will get a few up once its cleaned in the next couple days

brilliant. !
I'll never forget driving my first 944 Lux home from Sussex. That stupid grin gets stuck on your face for the whole journey. I was completly in awe of the car .
Looking forward to seeing some pics. You could upload them to Photobucket and paste a direct link if they are large image files

Well done Gordon - great news and glad you made it home despite the weather.

Pics when you can.

I saw Gordon and his new brief on Sunday. Very nice indeed and bargain of the decade!

His door handle even works properly now! :D

Hahaha, the door handle is still going strong. Makes me laugh every time I get in now. Electric's for the seats all work apart from moving the drivers back rest it only goes back so now I am in a very laid back position.

You can easily down size your pics with mircro softs image resizer or Irfanview. Just google. Takes seconds to do. Well done on the '44. They are great fun & for nothing at the moment. :D

It stayed clean for about an hour then back to its previous filthy condition. Bring on the better weather.

She looks very nice and come the summer she'll look a million dollars without all the grief. To avoid the need to polish her
all the time you might like to consider using this. It's quick to put on and buff off and in my opinion gives good results.

You'll need one cloth to put it on and one to buff it off. It'll take you about 5 minutes to do the car (put on and buff off).

If you want to dry the car really quickly get one or two of these.

Dark cars are always a pain to keep looking good, especially in the winter. In the old days I used to wash mine three times
a week and can remember the water freezing on the car as I cleaned it. I'm sure the neighbours thought I was mad.

It is Mrs Goff's old car. Picked it up on Saturday from down the road. Any comments either way?
