Excellent colour matching there. A great job by whoever did it. I see you still have a bit of a panel gap. Is that fixable?

Cheers guys, they blended the whole front end up to the windscreen.

The panel gaps I can sort it's just I was doing it in the cold and wet so didn't want to spend too long aligning it. I can get them spot on when I get a chance :)

Nice work Darryl. Always a pain in the arse trying to work on the cars with dark and wet days/evenings.

Had to resort to my mates car valeting/detailing unit to rinse and clean the car this morning. Washing the car in the rain doesn't seem right. A full fettle to remove the Autumn debris was required before shipping it up to the NEC later this week. It better not rain on Thursday!!

I was going to say the same as Rhett, until I noticed your wheels! OMG!

Originality gone out the window off with the scruffy D90's and dodgy rubber on with some good rubber for the winter.

Not the usual choice of wheels for these but they work better than I thought they would do. I best order some new castor mounts now

Drove the car for the first time since April. Sills, rust work, partial respray, fuel lines and filter, belts, rollers, handbrake pads, front arm and many more wee jobs. Felt like driving a new car. I also had it confirmed that I have a very understanding wife. Looking forward to attending some events in 2014.

Driving home in my 944 today I turned onto the Funtington to Havant road and suddenly realised that the car in front was a 944 too 8) as we came to the T junction the driver slowed that we side by side so we could say "snap". What were the chances of that then? His was guards red over silver and like me the driver was too old to die young.

Pop round to Gosport/Lee they're common as muck around here

I know of 6/7 within 10 minutes drive although I've only passed one on the road the rest I've seen out of my window. The one I passed I turned around to check he was OK, one of the tidiest early cars I've ever seen boiled up after some cowboy fitter messed up fitting new belts and then messed up re-fitting the head correcting the mess he'd made doing the belts

Today I installed rear clear lenses and revealed the light with butyl tape.

Spray some more dinitrol 3125 in to the sills, went in from the rear bung, but found going in each drain hole better, I went in from the door vent as well got inside the inside sill and feed it down the small hole that's near the rear seats.

Installed a water air seprotor as a oil catch can.

In the week I fitted my refurbed ACP JARA cups in full gloss black with 285 rear 225 front.

Monday will be fitting my 968 Hacth if it back from paint.

Radiator replaced...big crack in the plastic section on the original fortunately spotted before I lost all the coolant. New leads, dizzy cap and rotor fitted...just because they were cheap on EBAY, can't do any harm.

Oh and jut about to throw in a new HRW relay in the hope it sorts out the fault there.
Everything else will have to wait until after Snetterton
