I still have it, I have not seen it much though as I have been in Poland with the BMW and busy working when here.

Not a lot changed, odds and sods like big turbo and cooler ect..










I see photobucket has deleted most of the pics, nice...

I will ad some of the car, nothing changed of late.

Glad you still have it, car looks better without the center caps on the wheels. What sort of power is the turbo good for?

Duncan , yes I bought a Z4, very happy with it - defo the right choice of car.

Pete, its good for about 400, and more when I swap the hot side.

Not much changed as I said, but it has 30mm and 18mm roll bars, central locking, 180mph speedo and some other odds n sods.

I must say, gaskets, rings and bearings are getting not only expensive but difficult to get hold of, I waited 2 weeks for the piston rings from Germany.



I found a non leaking steering rack, lines and pump on a breaker at work.



The 180mph speedo. (944 Turbo & 968 only) the car doesn't need this but it looks good and I felt it should have one.



And some retro top end stereo.
(My dad had the same Alpine unit, in about 1988, I wanted one for this car from the beginning.

My switches were replaced with some fresh ones I can actually see


The sunroof broke so I fitted the whole set up from another car



Some of the older members will recognise the air freshener, its the same year as the car.

I've been looking at another 944, saw one recently LHD in red, worked out around £700 to buy. Just trying to convince the wife that I need it lol. Got the seats coming for it already so going to have a play with retrimming them. It will be a long term project as I want to do an engine swap as well at a later date.

Hard trying to decide if I prefer the early front end like yours or the later s2/turbo front end
