I bet it isn't new genuine Porsche! It's probably generic bodyshop seal.

Was planing on using silicon on mine. £2.50 a tube. You can't see it anyway. (Should do both sides & have enough left for the bath.)

Worth smearing vaseline on the body side & applying silicone on the lamp unit, some sealants can be very aggresive to paint work & the metal beneath.

Thanks for the tip! £9 for a seal is as much as I paid for the lights!

No, I should have phoned them before bidding I suppose? I'll have to have a look on the Porsche P.E.T. disc and see if it is listed and has a part number.

A lot of prep for that. Lights to cut out etc. Then you have to buy them. Thats what put me off!
