I think it's just a case of things can too easily get taken the wrong way in the written word online. When you're having a abit of banter and ribbing 1-1 you see the facial expressions of a person, online you just see the words and forget the person writing them might just be pulling your pudding a lot of the time.

Same question with the same guys looking at the cars in a car park would more than likely result in some good old banter.

I'd cheat though and park mine in between some other cars so it couldn't be seen from the side

she looks real nice Rob . Why don't you take her out somewhere where you have a nice backdrop and taks some pictures all round whilst its still clean and the sun is out. Long shadows this evening will really create some good picture opportunities.

Still got them don't worry! They're in the garage waiting for some new tyres (or the money to afford some new tyres at least).

I would take her out for a drive and get some decent pictures but sadly it isn't roadworthy yet as I'm half way through restoring it after finding the poor thing abandoned in a garage for 8 years. Hoping to have it on the road soon and should be bringing it to Gaydon next year if all goes well.

Everyone has an opinion on 944 however when you have had the pleasure of owning one,it proves to be one of the nicest car experiences ever....I love mine 4 years ownership and my second one

Good with the top down, out of proportion with the top up! IMHO. My opinion in not necessarily the opinion of TIPEC, so don't go mad. I'd like one though.

BTW, if I had one, I'd only drive in the summer with the top down.

I like the cabriolet as well, the only downside being the boot's too small - other than that I'd have one.

Pity they never did a hard top for those....

Think we also need a pick with the hood up.

As requested piccy with the roof up. Never really found the boot space a problem , you can still put the back seats down and use that space.Besides with the roof down the headroom is infinite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it is in the fastest colour....................

Many years ago I was given a red 968 Cab as a lone car by AFN Reading whilst they were working on
my 968 Coupé. To this day I remember how small the boot was, but you're right about the infinite
headroom when the roof is down. Unfortunately I didn't get much of a chance to drive with the roof
down because it was winter.

I think the 944 looks good from all angles. Very 80's but very cool and still turns heads today.

Yup, cabbie better with roof down, coupe looks good from most angles, my fave is straight on from rear, HIPS !

Must admit I would prefer the cab if it didn't have the 'pram ' look with the roof down , ie it would look better if the hood was flush with the bootlid when down , rather than sitting proud of the boot line.
Perhaps someone cleverer than me with Photoshop can produce an image!!
