Exciting as all the banter has been, I just wanted to say well done for saving another 944 from the scrap yard. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Sure you probably didn't intend to spend the amount you did on getting it sorted but all credit to you. I know you could apply the argument of you could have bought a minter for that kind of money but you weren't to know.

Incidentally, I use my 944 S2 as a daily driver. I would consider it to be in excellent condition but that doesn't stop me using mine daily. Its there to be used, abused and cherished.

Sir, I salute you. :brave:

Am curious as to whether we could have been separated at birth? Please advise. :wav:

We might well have been seperated at birth in a parallel universe. :cya: I think I fell through a crack in a worm hole! I'm still trying to figure it all out... :salute:

James,

Very pleased that The Red Shed is back in the land of the living. I think the title is now due an upgrade. "Shed" is a little too utilitarian, with the money spent I think you could at least run with "purpose built garden room with hot tub, sauna and mini bar"...

What do you plan to do with the brown pleblon?

Marcus

I'm still waiting for the invite to watch him spray those seats, I'll be encouraging from a safe distance. :)

I'll borrow some PPE from work.

Marcus - This is the estate agent in you talking. I prefer "fully refurbished mobile cost centre with desirable bonnet badge and scope to improve further".

Sean - You are about as funny as rabies in a guide dog home. But an invite may not be that far away....

Late night eBaying is great isn't it? I started this affair with my 944 in the same way! But thankfully I haven't had to fork out nearly as much.

Glad you've got your "shed" on the road.
