Cheers guys thanks for all your kind replies, but I feel such an idiot. Went to try different tyre pressures and found that I had a slow puncture all along. Front right was down to 20psi. Anyway got it fixed and set the tyre pressures to 36psi rear and 33 psi front and it runs great. Still tram-lines a little on certain roads but I'll put that down to the road. Sorry I caused offense to some but hey, a good old fashioned debate never hurts. Happy driving

Not an uncommon thing to find actually Gary. It's worth having a play around in 2 PSI steps front & back to see what it does! The only problem these days is that the weather is so grim you can't get a decent tyre temp. up. Just been out in the Jag every roundabout had the ASC light flashing
