Interior is browny waffley weave cloth, pretty rotten due to water ingress that I need to sort out. Where do I start? Assuming it's the clip out roof panel? Cheers

Looks nice, just need to get those wheels polished up. The interior is tweed isn't it?

Do a search on here, we've all chased water leaks whilst owning a front engined car!
Whip the sun roof out & check the four drains are clear with a stiff piece of flex or similar. Also check the drains are clear around the scuttle at the bottom of the windscreen

Mine is quite similar to yours so that gives me some hope. Still got a while until I get mine onto the open road.

Hi guys, thought I would upload some pics of my current obsession, and take the opportunity to introduce myself to the forum :-), Im james, im 23 from basildon, and this is my 83 944 na automatic, although this photo is from last year a lot has been done since then, i now have boxster wheels which im still not 100% convinced on, but cheaper than buying new tyres, and a new one piece stainless exhaust with just the back box and i have done loads of little bits here and there to bring it back to good condition.

After a hell of a lot of tlc it now runs like a dream and flew through the last mot without a hitch, this is also now my daily driver. Next step for the car is bushes which im putting off as i know it will be a pain, and then once the weather is good a full re-spray as although i have no rust, the body has taken a real beating so i will strip it down in my workshop and spray her this summer :-).

Thanks, i think the good weather on that day hides the imperfections, there's no rust but its more scratches and little dings all over the car from careless people in car parks and where i used it to move house.

I live in a pretty rough area and the local kids (you can spot them by the area code tattoo on there necks, this is the level of intelligence were dealing with) and they ran along keying and pouring paint stripper on every single car down my road except mine, they either liked it or felt sorry for it ;-)
