Is that an EGT gauge on the right ?

Yep, I wanted a digital display however innovate's EGT gauge doesn't have a 0-5v output (at the time not sure now) for my ECU. EGTs aren't as high as I was expecting on the 951. My EGT's have actually dropped by about 100oC with the new turbo which I suppose is due to less back pressure but I think its hurting my boost threshold.

Where is the sensor for the EGT ? There is a port on the crossover but that's a combined reading. I've read No.4 is often the leanest ?

This is where I positioned my boss for egt sensor on number 4 close to head. I am running a Vems combined egt/afr display that can show both of them split on a digital display. This also has the 0-5v output to link it into Tom Bakers ecu to run closed loop.

Sorry to be ignorant, but EGT? What is it and what does it tell you?
Cheers

Exhaust Gas Temperature, a probe is fixed in the exhaust manifold to measure the exhaust gas temp. With only one probe you tune to the leanest cylinder I think. I've read you can place the probe on the outside of the downpipes to determine which is the hottest/leanest.
