Was quite hard to get the B8.5D LEDs fitted, had to open the contacts slightly to get them to fit and ended up breaking about 4 of the red LEDs so had to order some more.

I sanded down the old reflective coating on the lenses and used some aluminium tape to recover them.

Tested the main illumination on the dining room table before a test fit in the car.

Testing in the dashboard the other evening, need to check the "Brake Pad" warning light and the "Parking Brake" isn't working as the contact switch under the hand brake is broken, got 3 of those on order to replace the two switches in the doors at the same time. I actually repaired a light I didn't know was broken, the seatbelt warning light wasn't lit in my "BEFORE" photo so the bulb must have been blown.
Happy with the brightness, it is just right not too much and not too little, the dimmer didn't appear to have much effect at all although I have read you can modify this so it works right with LEDs. There is no glare in person, the phone camera has picked that up but the light is crisp and sharp in person.
