Never had a post deleted before, but if you took mine off, then you need to take off Simon's comments about Richard's car being "vile", full of "tasteless crap", and "fairylights"

'Fairy lights'? The lights are off a Nissan Fairlady Z!

I commend you for having the guts to do what YOU want to YOUR own car. I actually think it looks pretty aggressive and should make a good trackday weapon.

To the poster who said the car is vile:

I'm afraid there is no place for that sort of insult on here. This is not pistonheads, and until very recently has been a really easy going forum with no protracted arguments about turbos etc. Please respect others as you would want to be respected yourself.

Adam

Completly agree. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! It is getting like piston heads around here....What happened to friendly Tipec?

Great looking car Paul!

on second thoughts it wasnt a festival,it was a bikers meet, every Easter.some hotted up cars used to turn up too! Last time I was there was about 79 or 80.Went in my Avenger 1600(dont care what anybody says about them, mine was a great car, very light and chuckable.)I remember it was the first car I ever had with a factory fitted heated rear window, much better than those old things you stuck on with suction pads! I swapped it for a Fiat 128 1300,also a great car, brilliant roadholding and very revvy!! I used to go to Bolton quite often ,there was a large Aquarium shop I went to when I was into tropical fish.used to buy them and blast back to Standish where we lived as quick as possible before they cooled down too much!! My mum still lives in Wigan,in fact thats where I was going last Sunday before I broke down. I ll have to get over there soon !! :) :)

They were very good rally cars and a match for the escorts but Ford had better engines

BAS right?

any excuse for a hoon eh!

what did you keep?

I allways used to have a tank, i even worked in the aquatics shop at bents garden centre whilst i was studying. Don't have one at the moment but fancy setting a mini reef in one of those chinese do it all tanks, they're so CHEAP! my last marine tank cost a fortune and it was only a 2ft.
