For me Cup Ones are the best ever wheels for the 944 and teles about the worst
( sorry Mark).

As for this it's an 80's car only have 80's wheels e.t.c, unless I'm entering it in a show class whooooooo cares , It's called enjoying your car in my book.

I dont insist on using old oils or pre 90's petroleum either I'm quitte happy with the
£5.20 a gallon 21st century stuff. Er what am I saying no I'm not bring back the 80p per gallon stuff I really loved that !

Each to their own 100 percent I say.

Well I think it’s all about the right combination, wheels suiting the car. I’m quite a fond of the teledail and the d 90 think they suit the car much more than most styles I’ve seen run. Just the amount of tire on the side walls from 15 " wheel. :(

I agree T3rra I like the more modern low profile tyre look aswell but everyone is different. Cups are a nice look as already said but you'll know what you like when you see it (if that makes sense). The slots, tele's and the cookies wheels in those pics do look dated to me now but hey that's me

Happy hunting
Andy

I like them both. The first set remind me of 993 GT2 wheels and the cups always look good.

I think the teledials, D90s and slots look the best. Maybe I am too old skool :-)

First ones for me. Always liked the multispoke racing wheel look. Saying that I have the original Club Sport D90's on mine and a set of 17" 996 Carrera 2 wheels in the garage.

What about colours? It seems every other colour then red really suits anything but sliver. Red and black is a bit over played. Yellow and black is fresh. White on White. Black on White. Red and ........?

I think I'm leaning towards cup2 which were my chose b4 my current antreas. But there's some orignel bbs 18" on eBay at the mo aswell.

Got a copy of Porscheshop's catalogue via the other Porsche club and it shows details of most of the wheels you can still get hold of and I am sure the second ones you show like cup 1s were around £1450 a set.

Too expensive for my taste and too hard to keep clean prefer my one piece cup1s easy to clean and repair when necessary.

But like others have said it's your car make your choice, these things are a personal thing not best sorted out by committee.

For me I would have the first ones always liked the BBS look, if I win the lottery that is!

Yeah it just a conversion peace really. Good 2 see what other 944 fans think, 4 something that so opinion based, it generated a lot of interested, David 924 cup 2 are simpler 2 the ones your running in your pic. There £850 from eBay. Split rim look not real 2 peace.
