" and I lost 2 kilos by deleting the rear wiper!!"

Thats worth more than being in the fastest colour. Did it on mine too. :) In truth the hole was the wrong size in my new rear hatch & I couldn't be bothered to find another motor.

Very sad I know but all this talk of reducing a cars weight and I wonder how many of us middle aged Porsche owning folk have gone on a diet. I suspect all of our cars have 'gained' 0.5 on the nought to 60 over the years ?
What , you mean just me no surely not I thought it was everyone

Found a button in the drivers footwell that opens the boot. Something whirrs when I push it, but when I go to open the boot it's still locked. Are you supposed to push the button and open the boot at the same time?!

In a previous car (a Mercedes E300D that I bought for £200) I found a speed camera detector under the drivers seat. Might be wise to transfer that to the 944...

Its meant to pop up slightly when you press the button. Try a clean of the mechanism and a bit of a grease up. Usually helps a bit. I think the arm from the motor can also come undone or get tired?
