Just to add another comment about insurance, Im 46 with full NCB, no points (lucky I guess) and protected no claims, I am paying approx £300 for 15000 miles a year and wife as named driver. Its cheaper than my Skoda vRS was :shock:

TIPEC membership: 0
I am 47 full NCD no points, and my 944 S2 costs me £179 with my Wife as named driver parked on the driveway not garaged and limited to 7,500 per year. So if you haven't got a lot of points and shop around you can get the insurance at a reasonable rate.

Im 24 with 3 points. Im insured for 690 fully comp with 5000 miles and an agreed value of £3500.
