Cool thanks man,

did you change the wings or modify to fit?

do i need to change the whole lighting system or just the covers?

and

is the front impact bar the same in both cars?

Cheese

Dann.

The headlight covers fit the standard pods but you also need to change the black plastic outer shroud, impact bar and mounts are different and the turbo/s2 badge panel is screwed on where as the standard badge panel on early dash cars is spot welded on.

Do you mean the headlight surrounds? Is the badge panel a different shape? The late Lux ones bolt on as well.

Yes the surrounds are a dirrerent shape, the badge panel is rounded at the front rather than near flat as the standard ones are. All pre oval dash cars have the welded on badge panel, all S2/turbos are screw on ,im not 100% sure but i think all standard oval dash cars have the screw on panel ??

Should'nt be as an 85/b is an early dash car so should have the weld on type.I had a 984/A reg car with a bolt on badge panel but that was because it had been accident damaged and a newer replacement fitted !!

Whats it like getting the badge panel on an early lux off the car? I take it you would have to grind off the spot welds or somthing.
