I used to work for a company as a sales manager selling these types of additives, I wont say the name but I went to the interview expecting it to be a performance exhaust sales role as they had the same name. Been an ex mechanic, although a long time ago, I was very scepticle but took the job and went on a few demos etc and I was supprised what did actually work. The best seller was a stop smoke for the mots and it worked but only as long as the fuel it was added too was in the tank as soon as you refilled the smoke was back. We sold many different types and none of the engine anti knock or oil treatments worked as well as they said. They did a diff/gearbox one which was like an STP thick liquid and that was good. Even though I sold lots of it out of 20 or so products only 2 or 3 did a good job but in my honest opinion once something is knackered it really needs rebuilding or replacing by adding something your just putting off the inevitable.

Thats interesting! How about some pics of the work so far. And how many horses are yoiu getting from the Nytrex system? Would like to see a pic of the engine bay :D

Sure thing J.J.. The car's just going back into the workshop this weekend (here we go again!) as I am going to install a fibreglass dashboard from Pefa Design in Germany, which has a dedicated area for three extra dials and also fit all new dials. I am also going to install a 924 turbo head gasket and send the head to the machine shop whilst I'm at it....so it looks like all the bits might be coming out of the crates after all!!! I've also just received new injectors from Dr. Injector in the USA and then it's off to the paint shop (when will it ever end :D ?), and then.....well, then the pics of the finished product (I hope!)
