Seems to be in my case

My next move was GSF Premiums as they are made by Zimmerman

Wowsers. It wasn't that long ago that Zimmerman disks were regarded as utter garbage on here, which warped for the fun of it.

Not bought them yet, spent far too much on the VF1000

But whatever I buy it won’t be Pagids again, it still judders so I had better do summit about it

I am solving this mystery by a Process of Elimination, which involves a timely upgrade / refurb of the Front Axle setup..

I need new Springs anways, so they are arriving today and will be bolting in next week at No. 5 Garage, along with new Top Mounts too. I'll get them to slot on my new GSF Brake Disks, and check the Pads at the same time. If after all that there is astill a Judder when dropping out of Warp, I guess I'll have a look at the Wheel Bearings..!

I've had a warped rear disc after a shoe spring came loose and the disc overheated at a track day. I've always used Sebro discs and Textar pads, front are M030. Actually my old 993 calipers and 928 discs.

I have had 968 pagid disks from ECP warp and when i get my car back it will be with a new set of Zimmerman's

I had a chat years back with a senior manager from Seagate (hard drive company) at the time i worked for Sun Microsystems.
met randomly while staying in same hotel, he was explaining how they supplied us with their top 5% in quality, the rest went to HP compaq etc, then the lower quality to retail. These were all the same drives.
Same seems to happen with car parts

It's been widely thought that ECP dont get the top quality from various companies, Dansk and Pagid among them

So, I solved the Mystery.. :|

Turns out they needed some bedding in..!

I was out on the road on Saturday, off to Hampshire from London, and decided to take the A3 > A31 route.. Weather was a shocker, so whilst I might have found a more adventurous/cross country route, I wasn't sure I wouldn't run into localised flooding etc.

I decided on a section of road on the A31 book ended with a pair of Roundabouts, and, ensuring there weren't any Speed Cameras etc. on the first pass, performed a few laps of this section using the Roundabouts as the braking points [obviously] to firmly slow the 968 from 70[+] down to ~20, each time the Brake Judder lessened. Incredible.

So, I think that has solved it.. I really didn't put much weight in the idea when I read about it, but it has done the job here..

Trouble is, I have two Disks arriving from GSF today.. Hey ho, more stuff for the Spares Box..

I found that solves it for a day or two then its back,

bit of a pain now as I no longer get a huge discount at GSF, they just made my son redundant, after being on furlough for 3 months
