It looks fine, I'd have tried the adjustment screw before opening it up.

All back together with wiper arm on a new track, no different.

Noticed that adjusting the mixture screw either way on the AFM makes no difference to engine idle smoothness?

I know it's a bit hit and miss at the moment but hoping the adjustment screw would've done something. Even fully in it idled a bit lumpy. Maybe it is sucking in air so much from a leak that a fully in screw is still not enough to get the mixture right for a stable idle. Think I need to get it stuck on a co2 analyser to confirm otherwise its just guessing.

Alternatively I take inlet manifold off and replace every vacuum pipe

Tested the DME engine temp sensor today. The resistance was way out when warm. Swapped it for a new one but not yet had chance to fully test. Hopefully will help.

My local motor factor cross referenced the Bosch and number and sold me a Lucas equivalent for a couple quid more than the one above.

Going to take it to local Porsche indy tomorrow morning to get them the set the idle Co2 and then can work from there again
