Cheers for the number. I'll give them a try next week as mine is due middle of October.
I'm 37 so shouldn't be too bad for me either.

Doh! Hope it gets through fine.

Just had mine - only thing that got a mention was the CO emissions was a little high at 2%. Reckon it's time to replace that dizzy cap and leads, which will hopefully improve the idle too

Gotta be happy with that - Always that fear that the tester will find something expensive

Passed no problems. Except. (& nothing to do with the MOT) Pin hole in the top hose. So now I no where the waters gone :D & powere steering leak from the pump. Need a new pump now as well. Was hoping to get it remapped next week as well. Might call for some creative accountancy.

in the 4 years i've had mine MOT'd at the same garage they have only checked emissions once and they were spot on then (about 3 years ago)

Best bet for pump is Jon Mitchell he does a full rebuild for reasonable money & warrants it!

Adam, when was the oil last changed & the air filter? Plug gaps would do this as well, the 944 is VERY sensitive to these. Book is generally 1.8% so not far out & with every thing else OK would probably adjust down 0.2%

Urm oil and filter about 3k ago, and I checked the plug gaps then too. Air filter box also hoovered and filter checked ok. Plugs will need doing at next oil change.

I agree about the sensitivity!
