While on the subject of 944's, does anyone have any ideas as to what the value of my 944 could be with 37000mls, fsh, exc. cond, taxed, mot'd ,etc etc. Am thinking of selling as I'm not really getting the use of it nowadays. (Don't seem to be able to put pics on here, says there always too big) it's a 'D' reg, '87 model

Back on thread subject.
Saw a red 968 Club Sport in Southbourne Hants today, looked modified sitting low and had a cage fitted. Pity they are not as cheap as 944,s :)

You guys are lucky. Up here I rarely see a thing. The only 944s I see are the ones my friends own and its usually a pre arrange meet up. I see a few boxsters around and light handful of 911s in a month if I'm lucky. Only see a really interesting classic once of twice a year :(

Red 944 heading towards Stokes bay on Monday when I took my square dash out for the last drive.

A W Motor Sport are in Southbourne I believe they're restoring a 968 CS at the moment.

Yes that would explain it, are they good at what they do?

You missed mine as wife and I visited the Explosion museum near you on Sun.

I've used them once and will use them again for anything major that my regular mechanic isn't too sure of. I had to book a month ahead, being that busy installs some sort of confidence in a garage for me. It's a family business mainly working on newer Porshce but Andy the main guy there has a soft spot for the 924/944's, well worth giving them a try.

I must pop in there then as I work just down the road from their place and hence they would see my car every working day unless its summer and sunny as I drive a little turbo charged Quantum 2+2 convertible.............until I finish my no holds barred MX5 turbo powered Lotus seven type special. One cannot have too many toys :D

Would that be on the corner of Clovelly and Manor Rd, I saw a guards red 944 parked up outside the unit there when I went to pick mine up.

I saw a guards red 944 parked up at a row of shops in Horley a couple of times over the Christmas break. Again looks good from the road and possibly a daily driver/place of work parking.

I was amazed when a white 944 shot down my road in Horndean perhaps a tad faster than the limit.
And on 02/01/14 a black 944 going south on the A3 M at Bedhamton around 2 in the afternoon.
