Just a couple of small ones, I replaced pretty much all the pipes but I used some aftermarket pipes at the rear of the turbo pump and I don't think the Jubilee clip I used is good enough, so I have to replace that. It's also leaking at one end from the expansion tank, I have just purchased an original pipe for that, so I need to replace that also and at the elbow on the water pump - I bought a new elbow and gasket, so that's also waiting to be done. Hopefully, after I have done all that it should be good.

Do check if you can get the rad repaired. I tried for my '83 944 and couldn't. The plastic tanks weren't the issue but the original manufacturer as that dictated if they had the parts or not.

Worth asking around

Thanks for the advice. My local garage advised that I certainly could try crimping the seam back together. Apparently, some places sell the rubber seal so I could take it apart and repair it that way.

I'd rather have the confidence of a brand new one. It's such a let down repeating the same repair.

Would be a pita to do again!

Try someone like this, http://www.readyrads.co.uk/ you never know your luck?

I can't recall who I spoke to when mine needed doing, on some rads they can replace the plastic tanks complete as long as the parts are available (which they weren't for mine so maybe you'll be in the same boat?)

Anyway, worth a bash ;)

We shall see. Certainly worth a few enquiries.
