awesome link, i cant believe how expensive the flywheel lock is from porsceshop.

but at least i know where i can get one. Its the tool for the job though, fits into the same bolt holes as the starter ahh i see.
And the teeth lock the flywheel. Simple effective but £70!!
I stripped my S down some more and have felt the tensions on the timing belt and balance belt. I had hoped the balance belt
was going to be on the tight side, but as previous, I can freely spin the idler with the belt just resting on it.
The timing belt i checked by this rule of thumb.

At the bottom of the water pump belt shield, i can just touch it with the belt.

At the top i cannot, its too taught to deflect this much.
My belts are pefectly tensioned going by these rules of touch and feel. But i have the classic whine sound. Which might be idler bearing noise instead?
