On chains the police use them around here. So if there illegal they would look a bit stupid. I think there a good option though clearance would be an issue on mine with 17" wheels as theres only half an inch on the inside edge that wouldn't be enough for chains. My '44 is off the road. I did try it in the snow & it was hopeless. Narrow wheels & tyres would be the answer. Should have the Suzuki back tomorrow & thats on winter tyres so will give that a try!
