Oh and Ian loving the new Fuchs ;)

Cheers dude, me too... I'm going to have to give it another spin today, and hopefully squeeze in a wash between showers.

Hi folks I am new here and although I have liked the 944 for some time what persuaded me was my daughter racing a 924 in the BRSCC championship and getting her first win and lots of podiums. I watched her lap Brands in 58sec in a 130 bhp car and was very impressed.
This year she is the Boxster prod champ so I had to buy a Porsche.
It came with a terrible fault of not starting sometimes and I traced that to an imobiliser that was wired in with just a twist of the wires covered in tape  After some soldering its a goodun and I love it.
Oh here it is.

Looks like a nice example, What model and year is it?

Thanks its an 87 Lux 2.5 oval dash so brisk but not fast, however its the handling and cornering that seem to be the cars ace card.

Hello I'm new here so just introducing myself and my new wheels....

I've been into classic cars since before I can remember and have had a few 60s and 70s motors - but the acquisition of a double garage earlier this year gave me the opportunity to look for something with a bit more...well a bit more go!

Hopefully if I've done the right a couple of snaps are here as well as my blurb...

Hello, new forum member and new Porsche 944 owner here!

Thought I'd post a pic here to start with....whilst I am new to all things Porsche, I have been into classics since as long as I can remember having grown up with a classic car restorer for a Dad :D

I have had a few other classics in the past including a TR4A and Stag, plus a couple of kit cars - but for the last few years I have had a 1965 Cortina GT 2 door (in Lotus colours) and have just acquired a 1986 944 Lux.

It's by far the tidiest one out of the 10-12 I saw, but it only has a partial history - and for instance I don't know when the cam/balance belts and tensioners were done so this is one of the first jobs....

Hi Folks! Two things here - Yellow suspension threads show the new Koni adjustables and any visible nuts have been plastic knobbled...

Hi guys, have been on the forum for a while but became a member just recently at the NEC Classic Car Show. Here are some photos of my 89 2.7 taken yesterday/today. It's Guards Red with Black Pinstripe interior, optional 16" Alloys, Sunroof and Fog Lights. All original apart from Stainless Steel Dansk Exhaust System and Sony stereo.

It's sitting a bit high for my liking so would love to lower it and get some ~10mm hub centric spacers.

If anybody has some springs or coilovers knocking about please let me know :)

Sunset after a day hooning over the Mendips last week

Semi slicks, torrential rain and 210+bhp of old school 80's turbo power makes for fun driving experiences :D

fil911carrera - I quite like the standard ride height as the tyres match the contours of the wheel arches, but as you've no doubt seen, plenty of people lower their cars to great success!

Steve - stunning shot. Great colours. I bet that those conditions resulted in all or nothing power delivery?
