Just had the rear lower sill panel repaired and now have new stone guards to fit. Anyone know the dimensions on where the panel in front of the rear wheel goes. Otherwise I'll wait until Tuesday evenings TIPEC meeting and measure one of the guys cars in the pub car park.

Yes, just the o/s lower sill panel. The original had got the point where I could have put my finger through it.

did you use the part section that is available from club autosport or ?

Hi Derrick,

Yes I got the part section from Club Autosport (63 quid inc postage). Luckily it was only the rear section, there was a minor bubble in the sill but nothing serious. A local bodyshop in the next village to me did the work (they specialise in TR6 rebuilds). The inner section needed plating and the end section needed plating, they did this without me asking and in the cost they gave me. they also took out a bubble in the rear arch as they resprayed the rear wing. Well impressed with the results, I'm sure some of the local guys here in the Bristol region will be interested once they have seen it at Tuesday's meeting.

Look good ...did they use that "schultz rubberized anti-stone chip" on the lower sections. it looks a good neat job ?

Yes they did, all the materials used were to spec.

Seems to have impressed the gathering at the Bristol region meet last night. I think I may have found the bodyshop a 911 customer too.
