My rear hatch stopped opening during the week, so just popped into the back to have a look to find that the cable from the motor to the mechanism that releases the pins has snapped at the motor end. Any idea what the part number is or where I can find one?

Thanks in advance

Neil

Give John or Nick a ring at OPC Tonbridge on 01732 376886 or mail parts@porschetonbridge.co.uk & they'll give you a part no. & price. They close at 13:00 I think on a Sat. Ask for TiPEC discount & say Jim Hearnden sent you.

Mid-Sussex OPC guys are pretty helpful too - I met them one night when I popped down to the SE region meet.
That would be much closer to you, no?

Adam

Appreciated Li, the sad thing is if I go to porsche dealerships I start to have ideas about selling the elise and the 944 for a cayman...and that's not good! Thus I try to stay away!..I think it might be a bit too tough if they bring out a CS version.
