I got my car back from the 'menders' on Wednesday.

The warm weather is the ideal opportunity to go and play. Whilst checking fluid levels prior to boosting, i noticed a metal pipe is missing a couple of bolts. I havent got the foggiest clue what that pipe does, please can someone help?

Also, please can you tell me if this would need to be removed to change a radiator?

Looking at the front of the car, its located behind the left hand side head light - close to the PAS bottle etc.

Thanks in adnvance for the help. :alien:

It looks like the plastic cover 4 the main coil, were the king ignition lead plugs in. Don't think it needs a bolt, sort off get pinched behind the headlight motor.

MIT be looking at the wrong thing all

Can't work that out off the pic'. Can see the head light mech' & some power steering hose from the res'. Bolts are all Metric so buy a multi pak off ebay. Probably M8/6/10 But make sure that they aren't too long to do any damage. Lazy mechanic probably. When i took my doors apart to fit new stays I found there were no bolts in the originals at all! Not a surprise on a 24 year old car. Rad's easiest done from underneath. An ounce of practice is worth a tonne of theory! :)

They are M6 by 25mm Rav. They hold the pipe onto the chassis rail and possibly would have been taken off to remove the radiator. If they are handy, go back to you menders and get them to chuck a couple in.
