Halfords do a plastic primer works really well, then I used alloy wheel paint and alloy wheel laquer!

How long have you tested your paint method? I don't want 2 do it then 6 months looks like poo, been using leather cream, really strengthen the colour.

Not long only 3 weeks, so far I have only done the interior handles, ash tray and centre console....the door handles get a lot more abuse and they are still umarked, ......It takes time leaving 48hrs between coats so all the solvent goes and 4 coats!

Ken,

Black car, black trim it's the only way to go!! I think after a while the silver will get on your nerves, I have not seen any other 44 with gloss black trim.
It kind of makes it modern but not over the top, have you any pics of the silver as she is?
