I was considering changing the air filter to a cone. The 944t is my everyday car and I'm not too fused about hp gains. Im more interested in making it sound a little better. (exhaust will hopefully be changed later in the year.)

Just not sure which one to go for. K&N are popular but not sure if that is down to marketing. What other products are worth considering?

Thanks Roy.

That's the one which is currently on the top of the list. Only issue is I haven't found any alternatives to K&N. In an ideal world world, I'd like to have 2 or 3 options to choose from. Does anyone know of any other options?
