Im getting quite a bit of squeaking in what I am guessing is the door frames from the rubber seals. Is there anything that anyone would recommend to fix this other than WD-40?

You can buy aerosols of proper 'plastic and rubber' lubricant' for under a tenner that do the trick. Failing that, new seals are still available from the dealer and will remove all sorts of rattles, vibration and squeaks with the added benefit of giving you door a nice solid clunk when you close it.

I always used to use a little clear vaseline on the door seals wiped on then off leaving a very thin smear, always stopped my doors freezing in the cold weather and squeaking as well.

clean them with a quality cleaner / de greaser first then apply Gummi Pfledge on all rubber trim

http://www.car-care-direct.com/catalog/ ... cts_id=147

I am not recommending this seller in any way, just happens to be the first link on google !!

I have always used this stuff on the rubbers on previous 993 and now 996. Always look as new, stay in shape and no squeaks etc.

However a good clean is required as for all treatments, otherwise it will just sit on top of previous grease, coatings etc.

Agree with the Gummi Pfledge recommendation, I used it on the rubber for my boot hatch pin recess, excellent stuff.
