I have a early offset 944 turbo. At the last MOT the braking passed fine. However, on a fast'ish run this weekend, the brakes felt very under powered when compared to something modern like my Audi A4.

Any upgrades that you could recommend that would increase my braking performance without too much hassle?

I have standard Porsche discs and Brake pads and am running ATE Blue brake fluid.

Its just rust!
If you take it out more often you don't tend to get that :)

Have you got Braided flexi's Like Goodrich or Aeroquip. Best value upgrade there is. Make sure the servo is getting plenty of vacuum & has no leaks. Does the pedal go down a bit if you start the car with your foot on the brake? Other thing is disc & pad condition. Pads die long before there worn out if your on standard road pads & have given them a bit of a cooking. A new set of pads can make a big difference.
