Rob,

All the above is good advice but buyer beware! When you go to look at a 944 or 968, either take someone who knows the cars inside out or get it professionally inspected. Those cheap supercars sure ain't cheap to get fixed up if you can't do the work yourself.

My fingers are still pretty burnt over my ordeal. Got the mug, t-shirt, lunch box, cap, poster etc etc to prove it as well. I don't want to put anyone off buying any Porsche but I think you're right to be cautious. If you can, get yourself along to a club night and speak to owners about their experiences. I'm sure most owners would be more than happy to take you out for a spin so you can make up your mind about which model will best suit your needs.

Doing your homework now and getting a car inspected will save you ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ later.
