I take mine off alot, i would say .

Removing the sunroof is easy, putting it back in can be hard at 1st. Iv found if u hold the windscreen end in the middle, mayb slightly closer 2 ur self with one hand and the other hand on the hatch end. The wind defelctour at about 45% u can slip it on remove that hand and then almost let it drop. I could instol my sun roof in under 30sec from the driver seat.
That's getting out the boot in and clipped. Alone.

But then again I'm use 2 lying 900/600 sand stone slabs on wet muck without getting ur fingers pinched or wet, and there not light at 50/60mm thick.

I half expect Gordon Burns from the Krypton Factor to turn up each time I attempt to get the sunroof roof off. I'll try what you suggest and if I don't get any joy, I'm sure the guy at AutoWerke here in Norwich should be able to help with the roof when I take the car to him for the timing chain inspection.
