:) Hi,
I have a a 1987 Porsche 944 and it is fitted with a Panasonic Alphatuner F35 radio/cassette. This should be a pull out unit that you can take with you when you leave the car. But you have guessed the question it does not come out? Does naybody have any helpfull ideas.
I would like to replace the radio with a later model and CD player and it would seem another problem is the screen has been replaced but no wires come from the screen to the conection under a small cover situated just below the screen on the off side.

This is the way I do it! Remove the trinket tray below the radio, I put my hand in & jerk it straight out. You can then put your hand under the unit & pry it out gently, sometimes a thin strip of metal down the side of the unit releases the catches. Be gentle on the centre console plastics as they are quite brittle these days because of age.
