Iv only just noticed that it only come on if the head lights are up? Is this right? I always assumed it was broken. Also my full beam dies and dims the fog on one side could this be part of a miss wiring?

Under bonnet light comes on with sidelights, but has some sort of tilt switch as goes out when bonnet reaches a certain angle when closing

Thanks, so it's working correctly. Just thought the pressure switch would mean it was on when ever the bonnets up.

Seems like an earth problem usually where the wires move as the lights lift up, tends to break or weaken, mine went there and I lost high beam on the day of my MOT last year, but easy fix once you find the bad connection, could also be water in the fog light causing a short cct.
