 Post subject: Adhesive for 968 spoiler trim

Ok, just a thread to hopefully aid some of the 968 owners out there with the commonly loose spoiler trim each side of rear window.

I've managed to repair & also fix back mine with (so far, touch wood etc....) a black Polyurethane Sealant called bond it Premiere PU 18 which was advertised to fix spoilers & body kit to cars. I'm sure the're are others that work just as well, but a flexable adhesive type sealant is the way to go. How long it will last is anyones guess lol

i'm on another car forum and they swear by tiger seal which is pretty much the same thing :)

Used tiger seal to refurb my rear hatch & fit the spoiler & it hasn't come off yet. Even when I backed into a tree. :blackeye:

I done my 968 with clear high module silicone held with tape overnight, Seeems to be holding ok. :wink:

Honda CRX. I owned an EE8 CRX VT for 6 years but sold it recently. Absolutely love them but finding a rust free UK one is like hens teeth and they go for S2 money.
