Maybe the lighter rear spoiler but now the hacth lift it self up when reposed from in side the drivers foot well. Flash when removing the sun roof. I no this was a failed design by porsche and didn't always work, was wondering if some springs mounted between the hatch and body would in aid the processe?

Normal reason for the hatch not opening up when released, is knackered gas struts!

You're right Lindsay. My rear hatch (on the car that is!) has a tendancy to stick in cold weather. Must contract slightly. No problems in the summer.
