Hi,

Got any pictures of how this looks? If you fit the number plate to low, you may end up with reducing the amount of air flow to the radiator.

Could you get away with an E-type jag number plate on the bonnet or badge panel or would this be illegal/MOT fail?

I would careful of moving the number plate location lower since you risk blocking the flow of air to the radiator.

only e-types are allowed that by law. i looked into this in some detail before studying the statutory stuff/ laws when i wanted i vinyl number plate on the bonnet of my 1970 gt6. Not legal !! only e-types are allowed as they were manufactured that way. I did it anyway and still passed my MOT as the testers don't know about this in much detail and just assume older cars are allowed. Don't think this dude will pass mot with plate mounted on badge panel of 944 though- no chance.

Slighty off subject .... How come motor bikes dont need to have front plates? Completely unfair for car drivers who have a much more increased chance of being caught on forward facing speed cameras?

front plates on a motor bike are classed as a potential danger to a pedestrian, anyone remember pre 70's bikes with front plates ?

Not being made in Italia etc.

Pedestrians are sort of soft and rubbery with hard bits in the middle, seriously though soft rubbery front number plates how would they keep their shape at speed.
